We are Katie and Emily! Firstly we are mums, we are also teachers and now we are the co-founders of The Parent Club which we are very excited to introduce to you all!

Katie has 2 children; Ruby is 3 and Charlie turned 1 earlier in September. Emily had her first baby, Hallie, in August 2020. Two lockdown babies that have just celebrated their first birthdays - where has that year gone?! We are cousins and have grown up very closely together. It is lovely to now see our children doing the same. We’ve had a busy summer filled with birthdays, christenings, days out and we’re sure you’ve all been super busy too. Routine seems to go out of the window and anything goes and why not we say!! Now some of our little ones are returning to pre-school or school, it’s a great time to get back into socialising with our littlest ones!

Both of us have recently decided to step away from our teaching roles within a primary school to focus on our families and other commitments at home. While wanting to do something for ourselves, we thought why not develop something that we need. As mums, we found little things to do, in our area, that both parents and children can enjoy together. That's when we decided to set up 'The Parent Club'!

Our aim is to create a space for parents to meet, eat and drink while the little ones do their thing - playing, interacting and exploring! This comes at a time when life has been somewhat different - we hope that this gives you a chance, as parents, to get together with others.

For Us:

- Daytime social events, with children, to meet, eat and drink!

- Evening events, such as Cheese and Wine nights.

For Them:

- Play, interact and explore!

- Meet other children and build relationships.

- Various activities.

For Both:

- Daytime social events, such as breakfasts and lunches.

- Weekend family events.
